Bad news, 0.4.0 was almost finished when suddenly my calculator literally crashed, deleting everything, even archived programs, so there is no way to retrieve my work:( not sure if I'm up for re-coding the entire update... Again...

As of now Picraft is going to be discontinued. I have tried many many times to fix the critical bug in 0.4.0 but am without any luck. So unless I say otherwise the game will receive no further updates, in fact this may be the last time I attempt programming, especially with axe. The only exception would be if I could get a 84 color, I am really interested in ATTEMPTING a full color version of Picraft, as it would allow me to add so many more block types and a much prettier game, tho I see no way of getting my own anytime soon:(

If you had a TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition and Doors CSE, I could feed you many ideas for an xLIBC-based 2D "Minecraft" type of game. I wish I had the time to execute all my ideas, but for better or worse, I think someone else is going to have to make this one.

What bug might this be? If you're still interested in fixing it, you should consider reaching out for help with debugging it. Myself and at least a few others around here are always willing to help people with Axe coding, but we can't help if you don't ask.

For anyone wondering the bug is basically, the entire game doesn't work:/ when you open the game it just displays the app menu until you press clear. I've tried to fix it many times and I just don't see how it happened as there was nothing wrong with the game then suddenly it stopped working and no matter what I do the bug still prevails. I have asked for help and at least 3 other axe coders have taken a look at the code of both the current version and the updated version. Yet even they don't have a clue what's wrong, it is a really nasty bug and I don't see it being fixed, but if it could somehow be fixed then yes I would love to continue working on Picraft as everyone at my school loves it and are always asking for updates.

As far as I can see in the main Picraft threads, you haven't asked for help here or on Omnimaga. Should you do so, I can assure you that you'll get more people knowledgeable about Axe attempting to help, including the developer of the language (me).

I would encourage you to resume work on Picraft. I think it had some promise, and debugging it would be excellent for your programming experience and possibly a future job.
