Description

First Fantasy is one of the first RPG ever released for the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition and the first ever one for the TI-84 Plus CE and TI-83 Premium CE! The CSE version uses Doors CSE 8.1 libraries to enhance TI-BASIC language, while the CE version uses CE Textlib. This very loose remake of Mana Force for the 83+ brings enhanced graphics, new magic spells and enemies, new cutscenes, expanded storyline and many new challenges. There are 16 magic spells available, 7 character classes, 49 monsters and several hours of gameplay. If you are a fan of Square-Enix Japanese role-playing games such as Final Fantasy, then you should try it!

This game uses Asm() tokens, which where removed in OS 5.5. This means that the game will not run at all on those versions.

The reason is because the game is a TI-BASIC program, while all the files are in ASM.

Guess this game is just a waste of space on my calculator until they make the game runnable on ASM.

So my shell is the "CalcPlex" shell. But how do I "hide" the rest of the other programs? Like the game is there, but there is also MF, MF1, MFB, MFF, and MFH. Is there a way to make them still on my calculator but not seeable?

It doesn't work. I installed all the necessary program files and have Artifice installed on my calculator, but it still throws an ERROR: INVALID when I try to run the main program. Well, didn't expect a full RPG on a freaking calculator, anyway. It's a pity since the descriptions in the readme file made this seem absolutely epic.

This program was developed by a master. The program isn't too slow and isn't a big memory hogger. The only thing I wish it did by default was archive the saves. The game crashed once and I lost my save, so I modded the program to archive them AND create a save data backup every time you save.

I suggest anyone who downloads this to mod the program to back up or archive save data. CE Textlib doesn't crash often, but you never know when it does.

One of my favorite things about this game is the suspense. You don't know how often enemies will appear, and it's really fun. A well made TI-Basic game.

This is a very good program. It has some decent graphics and is not to laggy.
