Anyone remember the story where this guy marries a girl he's known all his life, but the girl wears a bow on her neck and refuses to remove it, and then when they're very old she removes the bow and her head falls off?
I know it wasn't animorphs; it was from a book I read as a little kid; I can't remember what the title was :/

I remember seeing those books in the library. I never actually read any of them, though.

I tried searching Amazon with the keywords bow and neck in the children's book section, but no joy. :/
