Instead of figuring out the relationship between sites by URL, it figures out relationships via keyword grouping.
Oh, and I've gotten an official-looking page up on
http://wordnet.cemetech.net; shortly I will add a feature to let you pinpoint your site on the map.

Now whats the deal with the cool line picture...

That's because I'm still tweaking the rendering script for optimal performance. And wait until you see the upgrade from Cemetech0 to Cemetech1...
It hasn't progressed AT ALL in atleast over an hour...

Yup, there are some fairly substantial changes I need to make. It has actually completed - it just doesn't realize it.
*bump* Rendering algorithm has been substantially improved. I'll be upgrading the coordinate calculation script later to be faster and more precise.
*bump #2, just because it pwns*
1. Go here:
http://wordnet.cemetech.net/?page=map
2. Enter a word and click locate
3. ...
4. Profit.
i did and it appears as if nothing has happened...
Try another one. The pointer should move to show where that is on the mao.
import locations for your spider to browse:
wikipedia
wiktionary
Yup, it's already working on those. Oh, and by the way, I finished AJAXifying and spiffing the word search.
Yeah, I tried many words - none of them worked. And no, it wasn't just words like boobs and a (although I did try those
), I also tried car, computer, calculator, and the like.... So I gave up
Fear not, I'm still tweaking some of the code. You couldn't find results because those words didn't have coordinates assigned in the current map, which is woefully incomplete. Notice the addition of a historical view of old map renders.
Just as a heads-up, I saw this on nytimes.com. If you double-click a word, it shows you the definition. I saw this at the bottom of the page.

I'd be careful with the copyright on the name. I'm not sure how those work, but I thought I better tell you.
You'll notice, however, that mine is wordNet, not WordNet. Two totally different things.
yeah, well, lets hope things don't go crazy on it, I doubt it will though.
I don't think so. It's something completely different. Also, I see it mentioned as a copyright and a trademark elsewhere, which makes me suspect it may be neither.

Or, much more likely, its both
