hey everyone, i'm currently working with Chat GPT on making a HTML OS that runs in your browser. i just had a few questions:

- What is your favorite App that your OS comes preinstalled with?

- What is your favorite setting/settings to have?

- Anything else you love about your operating system?

Sounds interesting! Are you planning on open-sourcing it to somewhere like GitHub?

1. I run Linux, so nothing's technically pre-installed. But, KRunner or just dmenu are really useful.
2. Being able to change icon sets (and add custom ones)
3. I really like redshift
This is amazing!
Some Features I would Like Include:

•Custom Themes
•PDF Viewer
•E-Pub Reader
•Add a File Import Option
I'd like to redirect you to my attemt at a WebTop, https://www.prismanet.io/. Mind you this really just my scattered stuff and I'd prefer that you do not copy any of the code but feel free to take an example of what to expect.
Hello everyone!

Here is a beta version of the OS, I know I said I was working with chatGPT but I did a lot of the coding myself.

so far there is a few simple apps, a web proxy If you are at school and websites are blocked, and a file transfer/text service if your on the same wifi as the sender!

still a work in progress but all the features there work mostly

feedback appreciated!!

May I recommend you host the source on GitHub, and have a demo at github.io, so people don't need to download anything to try it out?

How do I do that?
Also is it free?
New update:

The Proxy seems to have stopped working, I will get it working again soon, let me know if yours still works or if its just mine.

Keep in mind a lot of the links are broken but there are a few neat features
OK, I think its on Github now, this took me awhile to set up because I'm slow, but here are the links

https://github.com/noahhaccker/N-CO-OS-Beta-V1 this is the repository?

https://noahhaccker.github.io/N-CO-OS-Beta-V1/ the webpage

Someone try it out and see if it works, also if you can see the apps when they open for some reason they open at the bottom on the screen and you can see the outline
i'll try it out when i get home (which will be a while)
Dang, I just checked the code, it appears no apps are opening, only the exit button works, I will take a look at the code, might just be missing a bracket or something.

will get to it later
I stand corrected, they do open but they open at the way bottom of the screen, only visible in full screen, I will fix where they open soon.
I haven't fixed the issue yet but I'm adding two new apps

An Nes Emulator that's made with JavaScript and html

And A Snes Emulator that's made with JavaScript and html

I did not make eather of them I found them on GitHub I will give credit
