I use my TI-84+ SE for doing trig and such in CAD projects since the interface is designed for calcualtions, but keying the answer in each time is annoying. Is it possible to make it emulate a USB keyboard and input the answer directly to the PC? What hardware would be needed to do this if the calculator itself can't? I also have a CE if that would work better for some reason.
For the CE you can use the TI SmartPad app which will turn the calculator into a computer keyboard. The output is really weird though so a while ago I made an AutoHotKey script to convert the calculator's output to something useful https://github.com/TheLastMillennial/CEyboard
Thanks, I'll look into this. Getting it to run on Linux might be a pain, but we'll see.
