True.. but dont forget taxes...
The taxes yes, because they pay for the govt. (I wouldn't really call them unconstitutional either)
The govt. excess, well, no, but nothing's perfect....

There's actually no law codifying income tax -- the IRS just kinda takes it. Does that make you feel good?

Of course there is... it's called the "Tax Code". It's a huge conglomeration of laws that have been passed over the years.
You do realize you are paying [alot] less for income tax than alot of other countries are, right? (I'm not talking third world countries here, but like european contries and canada)
And its just one of those necessary things. Freedom ain't cheap
("THE IRS" == "THEIRS" )

Yeah, they're a triflin'...
Friend indeed.
Oh, yeah, they're some golddiggers.
Way over town.
Takin' yo money...
Come on people. Taxes are necessary to pay for many things we take for granted. Without taxes, government wouldn't have the money needed to function and would collapse. Peace, security, health, etc. would go down with it.

Oh absolutely,it makes sense when you think about it logically, but in the abstract it's just so annoying. something1990 wrote:
It gets more annoying when the President gives tax breaks to all his billionaire friends.
And you know if someone said that they would get rid of those breaks they would be kicked out of elections in seconds
P.S. Not literally, but they would lose a bunch of votes if they had them in the first place.
ok, taxes are good, but then why does a Michigan Senator spend our money for pools and bridges in other states? Taxes are good, pork is not.
And once on the news I heard something about the government, the guys that work on the computers in the government, and porno. Put all those togeter.

Lol. You think the current government health system is effective? If so, you've got to be joking me. Are we currently (really) promoting peace in our foreign policy? Again, 'tis laughable if you think that's what motivates our government. And what about social security? What's your stance on that?
oh yes, of course... what did you expect?
Our congressman recently mailed a flyer to every adult citizen inside the state of North carolina... and in small print at the bottom it says "Paid for by tax revenue"
