I need help with variables

So the way variables are supposed to work is that you can have a variable up to 8 characters long. But whenever I have a multi-charafter variable 8th a syntax error. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix it? I do mean in ti basic

I've never finished a project. I guess it's time to change.
Hello Kegwaan, and welcome to Cemetech! Do you mean like you are trying to use the variable as a name? There are a limited amount of variables available, A-Z, Theta, and a couple other ones that can only be used. You can't have multi-character varible names in TI-BASIC, unless you are talking about program and appvar names? Hope this helps! Smile
