I've heard tell that the PortSentry Portscan Detection Tool has moved into a first beta of 2.0, which introduces stealth scan detection capabilities for all operating systems, even OS X, which was not previously supported. It also switches the method used to bind ports from the older method.
However, there are some caveats to it, namely the fact that it can no longer autodetect your LAN...you must supply it. That is something that is planned to be changed between 2.0b1 and the 2.0 official release.
However, the official psionic site is shut down. I'm not quite sure where else to look for official updates? Or even if the 2.0 has been officially released. When I search for 2.0 on Google, all I find is 2.0b1. Thoughts?
