Well, I see that's where we differ then; after I've reached the limits, I only try to extend them to an extent until I move on to something more intellectually challenging. Which is also one of the reasons why you don't see me writing programs for calcs and releasing them anymore

I don't reach limits, I define the limits.
Once you're done with calculators (Heresy! Kill the blasphemer!), you should move on to something more state-of-the-art.
