Is it simply sites like Newegg and TigerDirect, or is Intel phasing out their LGA 1155 line of processors? While they remain available to see on Intel's site, I no longer see ANY in-stock processor or motherboard whatsoever for the LGA 1155 socket on Newegg OR TigerDirect! Has anybody else noticed this? They were up earlier today, so why take them down from the sites NOW?!! Most entries for said processors and motherboards aren't even EXISTENT at this point! What gives?

P67 and H67 are, AFAIK, the only LGA1155 chipsets out there, so they're likely pulling all the Sandy Bridge paraphernalia until there are non-broken chipsets in the channel.

I'd be inclined to agree with Tari; Intel screwed up big-time here, and they definitely need to try to limit the damage. I'd imagine that pulling the associated hardware for now is probably the best way to keep people from getting frustrated.
