I'm guessing you mean His computer? Because the server is a dual core with 2gb ram, more than enough for MC so its not my server lagging, maybe a *little* net lag but not enough. I just hate force stopping the server like that.
Yes, I mean his computer. Because if his computer is lagging, or his internet connection sucks, then that could cause him to delete a block, move into it's place, and only send the movement part to server, which causes illegal stance.
Ah, i see. I wish notch would fix that or have a way to let the server recover by itself without me having to restart it manually. Also to use less bandwidth :/

probably caused by my internet lagging then :/
since my laptop is a core i3 with 4gb of ram. :/
oh... and i wasn't doing anything special... i was simply cutting some trees...
