this is a cool idea... although I would say that I'd like to see it do real time scanning because then otherwise there'd be no point in scanning every time to check for errors or what nots.

Well, it's to check for malicious code or malware in programs, and while I agree that realtime scanning is very useful, the technological difficulties with making it play nice with other RunProg hooks like Doors CS' might be well nigh insurmountable. KermMartian wrote:

Right now, basic scanning of programs is what is being done.
Kerm, I have decided that I will throw in two scanning options:
1. Scan file: You put in a program name and only that program is scanned.
2. Scan system: All programs on system are scanned.

That sounds excellent, did you implement those yet? 1. Scan file: You put in a program name and only that program is scanned.

Starting work on scanner now. I'll post back when i see a working section.
@Kerm: I will be needed a few search strings to test with.

Aight, I'll get those to you as soon as possible. Depending on how hard I work on my schoolwork today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday), I might be able to get some to you on Sunday if you keep bugging me about it. @Kerm: I will be needed a few search strings to test with.
