For now I'm going to leave it so that the only way you can load normally is by resetting all memory and then loading the app. I think I may have found why dcs still disappears, 10 bucks says you're on boot 1.02 rom? Also betting on OS 2.53 MP
Ah yeah, at the moment I'm testing on 2.53MP, although I'm of course switching between different versions to make sure DCS works well on them all. What if I reset, load the app, then reload a new version of the app? Does it remain a non-trial?

Edit: And yes, BOOT CODE 1.02.
If you do that yes it should. Im 99% positive the only time wabbit resets the certificate is when loading a new rom, so whatever changes the OS makes stay. As for your issue it appears to be strictly a boot 1.02 (which is unfortunately why I didnt catch it before Neutral). Not sure what changed, but I'll do some more disassembling and dumps and report back
Sounds good, thanks much. Smile Now what if I load a different ROM and save, and then restore the first ROM and save; what state is my Flash in? Trial or no?

If you load the save and not the original rom, then your save keeps an exact copy of whatever you had. Otherwise if you use the original rom it will be in whatever condition it started it.

Also I fixed it so custom keys are persistent, so now you can map your audio key and not lose it Razz

Excellent. It took me a good 30 or 40 seconds to figure out why [PgUp] was not enabling sound on Wabbit today. Very Happy Any chance of resolving the issue with the skin disappearing when I sleep my laptop? It's not that it gets disabled, it just disappears.
Say, is there any chance of a TI-86 skin? I cant operate the darn thing, unless someone wants to tell me how to say

I don't think it would be too hard, ask Buckeye. Smile They look like CADded designs to me. By the way, in the future, can you try to limit yourself to one blank line at a time, if you have to have any? Smile
qazz, you can just type in asm(Mario) if you enter A-Lock mode as the 86 tokenizes on the go rather than require you to find the tokens in the menu.
Well unfortunately not. I made a 2 very nice 86 skins, but unfortunately the 86 physical screen size is actually the same size as the 83plus screen. So basically the pixels are no longer square and look like crap when rendered on the comp. Thus wabbitemu renders the screen wider than it should be. And thus, any skin at that dimension looks really weird.

See these posts for the applicable skin:

Argh, that's frustrating. I don't understand how it doesn't work out though, unless the pixels in the 86's screen are indeed not square. I can't find my 86 at the moment, otherwise I'd whip it out and see what the deal is.

yeaaahhhhh- no

The keypad of the ti-86 is different, as in the "t" key on my comp's keyboard would not make a "t" on the emulated TI-86 :/
You just need to alpha-lock first (ie, 2nd-ALPHA = left shift, left ctrl).
yeah, but when I do that, apparently Q=N

Ahh Yeah I forgot that the 86 has the letters mapped differently than the 83+ series. Buckeye will have to make adjustments for that change.

Yeah i've been working on code to remap the emulator keys...

That doesn't look bad at all, Buckeye, other than that random panel of black!
One day later the new version is up. The stretching doesn't look quite as nice as the screenshot above, but pretty a close. All 5 86 users go download now ;P

Haha, still, good job on getting that done, I see no reason to not give that a try myself now. Smile

Hey now, the 86 was awesome I still use mine often as while the 89 can do almost everything it can, the 86 can do most of this things quicker due to the awesome menu setup it has.
Awsome, thanks buckeye

Woah, that screen is really streched O_o good job though...

http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/61/6142.html is being a prick and not running I say "asm(mario)" to no avail
