I have to give my borrowed TI-84+ back soon. So my plans for today are to go to the Chesnee Library and TRY to put the games off of it onto it after downloading TI-Connect. Then I'll work my way from there, see how things go (if it works or not). We'll see..........
You'll unlikely be successful in this endeavor. Libraries don't typically allow applications to be downloaded. Your best bet would to ask a friend if you can use their computer whike your over or something.
Best of luck!
It's been done. They didn't care. I have all the files from the calc on my computer. I even got to download Wabbitemu, so I can still program on a TI-84+. I'm giving back the TI-84+ to the teacher it belongs to and get my TI-86 back. So now I can either program with a TI-84+ or a TI-86.
I am thinking about remaking the games that I made for the TI-83+/84+ family for the TI-86. Is this a good idea in the least?
I think the 86 is in a significant minority but it doesn't hurt to learn a new language.
And by "significant minority" you mean........?
What language do you think I should learn?

I think he means that very few people still use the TI-86. I tend to think you should really learn more about BASIC, and I (biasedly) strongly recommend you learn about more control structures and using graphics from this publication.
So what you're saying is I have a 'dead' calc, pretty much?

Not dead at all, but less popular in terms of a userbase. This only means that games you might make would have fewer eventual players, but doesn't at all decrease the pedagogical value to you in learning to program on it.
