btw, I approve of the Lego's in the -s-c-r-e-e-n-s-h-o-t- action-shots.

tifreak8x: Thanks, it was rather difficult. Next step is all this crossconnect wire, which is a huge pain in the neck.
elfprince13: Which LEGOs? Are you referring to the breadboard?

Maybe you can rearrange the keyboard to a better layout, with all the numbers together and such, and write a key hook to fix the software?

It looks bad because there's residue everywhere

Just randomly curious, but why can't something like http://cgi.ebay.com/UPPER-TOP-LCD-SCREEN-For-NINTENDO-DS-LITE-DSL-NDSL-OT_W0QQitemZ220577880855QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_Games_Accessories?hash=item335b775b17#ht_1844wt_1165 be used as a screen for it? Is the calc processor and such unable to use it?

That's more or less it. The TI-OS (and every ASM program written) assumes that the LCD takes a certain set of commands to change modes, show pixels, erase/refresh, all that fun stuff. Using an LCD with a different instruction set would either require rewriting the TI-OS and associated ASM programs, or using a mu-P to provide a translation layer between the two. Even so, different pixel dimensions and such could make that a huge undertaking. Ultimate Dev'r wrote:
Quick note for clarity:
mu-P == microprocessor
Indeed. Thanks for that clarification, Ult Dev/ mu-P == microprocessor
Thought as much, was just a random curiosity is all. =] Just wanting to make sure that I was thinking correctly and all that. :p
Kerm, why not use wire glue to make the connections easier? It would seem for a project with as much going into it as that the cost of that type of glue would be minimal. It also seems like with the right application tool it could be much easier and less stressful to use to connect wires to PCBs.

Ooooh, that does indeed look quite useful for the stuff I'm doing. Do you have any information on its resistance per unit area, length, or volume? http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/b70c/
