It seems as if when I archive a program and then lock it, it appears to be unarchived and unlocked.
Also, should I be able to edit locked programs from DoorsCS???
EDIT: Actually, the problem with a program that is locked and archived becoming normal seems to occur if I try to archive it multiple times.
1) Yes, you should be able to edit locked programs. I made that possible. However, I don't think it's available in your version; it might only be in mine.
2) If you archive twice you make it unarchived, silly.
In the Beta 2, it plays nice with Omnicalc, except on mine (TI-84+ SE) it turns off lower-case.
Any chance of it being fixed?

Oh. I was thinking there was a seperate "Unarchive" option - I was too lazy to look down a few pixels.
bfr: It _used_ to change the text to Unarchive or Archive based on what the program was currently, but I took that out because it was something of a waste of space.
Sting::Ray: do you have lowercase checked in the options menu?
I just tried to rename a program, and DoorsCS kind of froze. There is no cursor in the text line. The only thing I can do is turn my calculator on and off. My program might have been archived and/pr locked, but I'm not sure.
*bfr takes out batteries*
EDIT: Hmm...maybe I should start posting in "DCS 6.1 'Montuori' Beta 2 problems... " in the future.....
Was CALCnet2 enabled? What kind of programs was it? Can you tell me for sure about the archive/lock state?
Well, it seems to have not been archived, seeing as I lost it when I took out the batteries and put them back in, and it wasn't there anymore.... It was a TI-BASIC program.
If DoorsCS really saves my preferences... *bfr checks* ... Calcnet2 was not enabled.
EDIT: I've tried to replicate the bug, but no success. Meh.
Cool! I should go get my calculator to load up this new version... Keep up the good work!
Hooray! New user!
I've had similar issues with renaming, but they're pretty uncommon (I rarely/never rename programs anyway).
Yep! I have come over from the fabulous TICALCS2!
I have renamed programs and I have never had this bug... Weird!
I can't seem to get the editor working. It doesn't matter which BASIC program I try to edit and whether it is unlocked/locked or unarchived/archived. It does nothing the first time I try to edit it. Then, the second time, it gives a blank screen with just a colon. You can't edit from the colon line. You just have to 2nd-Quit out of it.

What beta are you using? I have had no problems so far... (again! )
Montuori Beta 2 on an 84+SE OSv 2.41
Weird... Hey, Kerm, when do yo think the Montouri Beta 3/DCS 6.1 will be out?
Since my computer's hard drive crashed, I'm not even sure we're still at Montuori Beta 2. It depends how reliable my backup turned out. However, I'd hope to have Montuori Beta 3 out by early next week at the final 6.1 by the end of the week,.
Well, do you remember the bug fixes?

I thought I did, but apparently I didn't. Aha! It's because I did, but the Beta 2 used a new appvar, and so it overwrote it.
Yeah, next time I'll check the options screen...
Hehe, well done. Yup, because of the new hook and chainloader, the AppVar is now 5 bytes bigger, which (if you had an old version on your calc) triggers an AutoUpgrade.
The bug I have is that with the new hrbrid MOS/DCS header, some ASM MOS programs' headers work, but others don't. Phoenix (for MOS):
"Pho"
Pong z80 (Nick Monu):
"Pong z80"
"Tinycarz":
"T"
Ztris "for MOS"
""
It won't take lower-case for BASIC-descriptions either. Why?
