There's a TI-Basic token called PrintScreen that I found when messing around with the Celtic command HextoBin.

It appears some Printing functionality was planned and later canceled for the TI-84 series calculators. I suspect they realized trying to debug all the issues with differences between printers and similar "fun" would make it a support nightmare for a feature very few people would ever use. Especially when teachers could just use SmartView or similar PC emulators and screenshot and print the screens from there.
The PrintScreen command was fully implemented on the TI-82, allowing you to print your screen with the TI-GraphLink software. It was soft-removed on the TI-83, but the token is still there to this day.
The easter egg linked above is unrelated. It was a PCL job intended to be used with USB printers, which was removed in version 2.30. I tried printing it a few years ago but it came out looking like this:
