Y=(4/5)x*2 is parallel to Y=(2/5)x*4+2
(4/5)*2 = 1.6
(2/5)*4 = 1.6
My math teacher tried to prove me wrong and failed, I want your opinion on it.
For 2 lines to be parallel, the slopes have to be equal, and your calculations prove that. I don't know if I have anything more to say about this.
the slopes are the same but the y-intercepts are different, so even without graphing it i can tell that the 2 should be parallel.
