Does Wi-Fi also disappear? Quite strange, if not.
Exactly: my WiFi does not disappear, and they're handled by the same card.

I use slightly out of date hardware and even though it should run newer software great, newer studios refuse to ever optimize their code and instead opt for a higher system requirement. I should not get 120fps 1080p Fallout 4 gameplay on medium-high setting and then switch over to 30fps 720p gameplay for any game made in the past year (even if it's not that graphically intensive)
