I know how to compile the code but whenever I send it it says there was an error in the formatting am I compiling it wrong or just coding it wrong in general. Thanks!
You have to use the TI-Nspire Student Software's integrated script editor on the computer (or, the third party tool Luna), in order to "convert" a .lua to a .tns file.
Be careful that the lua code needs to be using the TI-Nspire Lua API not anything else (like you may be used to if you write lua code on the computer).
