The world is a dark place in these times. Civil war, Dictatorships, Generational Division, and Warfare with Neighboring countries. Yet in this era, there are heroes. Heroes like the TI-84 + CE? (that idiot wrote this).
That's right, welcome to CALC-KILL EXTREME, the best calculator fighting simulator. Restore your country, liberate your people, unify the nation, and destroy your opposing nations. You play as a Ninja TI-84 + CE Evil or Very Mad + Graphing Calculator ?, which I am open to naming suggestions, and fight in a one v one mortal combat style fight. You have three bars, one for health(no functionality at the moment), one for blood power/some super power, and one for a third function that I also don't know. Here are the functions at the moment:
Green = implemented
Yellow = in progress
Red = not implemented

Movement
Graphics(Got some cool looking enemies)
Idea
Opponents(just a punching bag+TI84 School+TI81+TInspire(no attacks yet on the nspire))
ANY hit scanning
AppVars
Menu (got some good functionality)

Also, here is a video of the opening and the movement:

The next Feature I will be implementing is hit scanning for the enemy
What is this coded in? Celtic ce? This is a good idea. I've always wanted a solid fighting game for the ce. Could you send us a bit of the code relating to the lists thats causing trouble?

Looks like ICE to me.
I like the animations! Looking pretty good so far Smile
Uh, Its coded in ICE, every time I do CopyData(L1,1,1,5) then I try and change one of the variables, L1(0), it ends up changing the entire thing, or something similar, because then the IF statement that I made earlier on relating to L1(1) is enacted, its nothing major, and so far everything has been fine.

Just as a quick update, I got an Icon, Description, Hit scanning, a Dojo mode (for now that's just what you load into), and A punching bag that takes knock back.
On another tangent, I was trying to use convent to make some sprites (I am running this on MAC, but I also tried it on linux ubuntu) and all the file gave me was a text file, instead of an exacutable it gives a text file, but for now its fine.
And Now, just to help relieve all fears, I have a better video, Enjoy(:

Ok, I normally like to just lurk instead if posting stuff, but those calculator animations are just too good Razz

They fit the vibe so well, too (imho, good stylized graphics will always be 100x better than realistism)
The progress is great and since the graphics are more minimalistic, there is more potential to add things.
Oh wow, great progress, this looks really good!

I think it's because you are initializing L1 with 1 byte values. However, writing to {L1+0} writes a three byte value. To write a 1 byte value, use *{L1+0}. This is probably the most likely cause.
Update:
-I’ve added a good looking menu
-story mode with three villains:
•a ti-school edition enforcer who can push you back and shoot you with a shot gun
•an old to-81 that can use air,water,earth, and fire
•a new nspire that is basically a super hero and during the second stage of the fight he flies so you can’t do certain moves.
-Knockback
No pictures right now because I don’t have scared to cemu right now but I’ll post them soon.
Upcoming: Add the final boss, hitching for your self, a cheat menu(taking after old n64 games) and an ending screen when you win.
When will this be available for download?
Sorry Guys, got to make this post short, but really this is the video that shows off the three enemies that you can fight as of now. But I've been working on a pause menu, and cheats like infinite health, big head, and other bugs turned "features".

Welp, have a nice day/night =)
I've effectively finished the game. The final boss is a casio prizm that basically can use life stealing powers. I've added win screens lose screens, a pause menu, and also am making sure that the hits all register, and that they make sense (not that anything will make any logical sense afterwords). After working on the cheat menu for a bit I've decidede that I will being ethier saving it for a later update or removing it entirely. Instead I'm going to focus on learning appvars to create a save feature.

vid, i've saved some features from being shown so play the game tommorow when it is released Smile:
I am glad to annouce the release of Calc Kill Extreme to the Cemetech Archives, It was really fun coding in ICE, I definetly think I could have finsihed the project sooner if it wasn't for my mini-project that I might also post about, but yea, hope you all have a bunch of fun in this street fighter sim for the calculator. Also if anybody thinks that a certain wepon is over powered or things need to be nerfed I would be more than happy to do some balence changes Smile

happy to see a "proper" fight simulator in development should be fun Very Happy
Very solid game! Though jumping can use some improvement Smile
I just found an exploit - immediately dash to the enemy when the battle begins (optional) and just hold 2nd+up+right, and the enemy will not be able to hit you much (or even at all), so instant win for the player.
After hearing this devastating news, I have added some balance changes that will be released tomorrow.
1. Increased enemy damage and knockback at close range
2. Decreased range and damage of uppercut
3. Shield Randomly heals

If any one wants to change anything else before I make the changes please come up with a recommendation Smile
Some kind of indicator for when you're taking or dealing damage would be nice. Even some simple onomatopoeia would do, like "whack" or "smash"
You have asked, and you shall receive Evil or Very Mad
My kick move was unstoppable... until I hit the casio prizm:(
