Hey! Can a regular 2.5mm jack input data into a TI-83 Plus or do I need a graph-link or TI-Connect cable?
Not sure what you would connect to the other end of that standard 2.5mm jack besides another calculator, so yes you will need a graphlink or silverlink cable for connection with a pc.
A 2.5mm jack will fit, it needs to be TRS (stereo). To connect the 83-Plus to a computer, you will need a special cable, like Silver-link. To connect 2 calculators together, you can use a 2.5mm male-to-male cable.
I use a normal aux cable with some adapters to make it true size which means I can plug headphones into it. I use one from brand vention.
