Hello, I have a Ti-84 Plus Silver Edition that I have modified, but 2 days ago, it stopped working. It is acting like the wires on the Linkport are connected, but I don't know what is wrong. I know that it isn't the linkport, because while I was tring to get it to work, I accidentally detached the linkport. Do you have any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks,

Any ideas?
They are just going to laugh at you and tell you to buy a new one. The will not help with problems that stem from you modifying it.
Way to void the warranty. It totally is a shorted linkport issue. Post pix of the mainboard near the linkport.
Yeah... The linkport broke off earlier while I was reing to get some of the solder off...
Heres the photo(give me a second to post it)
real useful blurry picture
Yeah, you should probably give getting a picture of it another go, that isn't too helpful as blurry as it is
Doesn't help; I can see the linkport area, but no detail whatsoever.

Yeah, I think you managed to get something shorted across the link port.
21 to go...

My camera sucks.
Or you just need to not hold the camera while taking a picture. No digital camera in the world takes THAT blurry of a picture, so its probably your fault. Don't hold the camera and have the calculator be very well lit - should come out just fine
Oh, and use the Macro mode if your camera has one
a 10 dollar brand new camera takes a photo that bad.

Only if you are holding it (that is blurred due to motion, not due to resolution - aka, it was your fault it came out so bad, not the cameras )
I think it's one of the Digicams, in which case it actually CAN take a picture that bad.
@netham: If you have a scanner, just scan in a pic of the linkport.

looks more like a ghosted image to me than just a blurry one - an indicator of vibrations during the shot

I suggested that during a videoconference with netham, but alas, he does not have one.
Could he not show the calc to you during the video conference?

He did - and it was still massively blurry unless he pulled the camera too far away to see detail. 'Twas a focal length problem, the blur.
