TI-84 plus CE string error

I am running into an issue on the ti 84 plus CE when working with very large strings in that whenever I try to read string data past the index 9999 it throws an invalid dimension error is there any way of getting around this or am i doing something wrong?
No, this is a known case. You cannot use sub() past 9999. I think I made a post about this somewhere...

Anyway, a workaround is generally to just spilt up your strings. I know, it's bad Razz
