Hi everybody, I'm stressed out about my statistics course so I thought I'd reach out for help here!!

I'm working with a Casio fxCG50 that I haven't used since highschool and I'm just looking for any advice on programs that might help me not fail this exam :,)
I know there is already a lot on the thing by default, but I'm just getting back into it.

Grateful for any info :)
Hey, I'm Thorne, I'm a software engineer that was drawn to this place because it feels a lot like the corners of the web I lurked in as a teenager, and I'm kind of excited that places like this are still active.

I was an admin of several vBulletin & PHP fora growing up, using that opportunity to hone a lot of my full-stack web-dev skills, much as I grew to want to avoid PHP like the plague once I got into things like ASP.NET and Node/Express.

I was the type of kid who was constantly on my TI-83 and later 84 Plus, and, though I've bought and tried out some newer models, I find myself always missing my 84 in all its humble glory. Maybe I need to try the 84 Evo?

Anyway, glad I stumbled upon this place Mr Green
Welcome to Cemetech, ens0, and good to have you! Cemetech has been around for over 20 years now, and we're now surly ancient folks who complain about change: I'm glad to hear that has translated into a forum that feels like the good old days. You get bonus points for correctly pluralizing "forum".

Do you still have any of the programs (if you programmed?) that you made for your TI-83 and TI-84 Plus? The Evo is certainly a powerful calculator, but if you're interested in flexing your programming muscles for a calculator, e.g. C and ASM, the TI-84 Plus CE is currently the better choice, in my opinion.
Hi all, I'm kuro!

Just a hobbyist that likes to code random things... Websites (mostly) and games...

I'm getting into TI-BASIC (kinda again) stuff since my friend gave me their TI-83 (they're on here sometimes)
I hope to try messing around with z80 asm when I feel more confident enough but for now TI-B it is!

That same friend introduced me to this site! (mostly because of SourceCode3 LOL)

Just wondering, who is this friend? (Might know him)

Lingerer here. I've had an account on here for a while but don't show my face on forums. Used to be on the Discord a little bit though...
I've browsed through some of the pages, apparently I never participated in this thread so long ago..

Anyways, I'm TIFreak8x, I've been around since the earliest days of Cemetech, and a retired admin of the space.

I started back in 1998 with a TI-83, learning how to make things with BASIC menus, and eventually created a game called Age of Darkness, all text and menu based, buggy, but still fun to poke around. I later upgraded to an 83+ and an 86, from which I found the beauty of an assembly game, Final Fantasy. It inspired me to learn how to move things around the graph screen to mimic what I saw in that game, and hence Age of Darkness which was my first animated game, along with taking on a challenge I saw at Basic Guru tutorial page claiming games could be made without using the first Lbl or Goto.

From there, I went on to make the above games on other graphing calculators, along with other programs and utilities. As new calculators emerged, I added and upgraded older projects to play on the newer units, which is where we sort of are now with the release of the Evo. You can find updates of those projects here.

I know to some people here, I'm a fairly new name, until you start looking at my profile. I assure you, I've been around the site for a long time, I just suffered burn out (with programming and life in general) for a long while, and am recently finding that spark that once again drives me to write fun things for graphing calculators 🙂

I look forward to seeing all the new projects and meeting all the new people that have made Cemetech their online home!
Heyy, my names Pokemon Pinball!
Im new and I'm really just here to find cool ways to tinker with tech (one of my favorite pastimes)
I found an old TI-84 Plus Silver Edition and I decided I'd tinker with that too!
I can't wait to get to know people!
