Hey everybody, I'm Peter. I just got into graphing calculator gaming and I want to learn to make my own games. I'm 30 years old and I never really cared for old school computing, but something about the TI-84+ Silver Edition just fascinates me. This is the beginning of my programming journey and I'm incredibly excited to be here.

TI 84 + CE? Did you run arTIfiCE first and run it through there?

Hey, everybody! I've just created an account here after looking around for a place to upload my solitaire game for the TI-84+ CE. I'll probably be undertaking a few other little projects here in the next couple of weeks or months. I mostly work in C, C#, BASIC (though not TI-), and 6502 assembly.

I am Lily, I started on TI-83+ in BASIC, did some asm, then Axe came out so I experimented with that until I got more involved in python, lua, LP-C, even a little 6502 asm. Now I'm back on the 83/84+ tinkering with Axe, learning and testing, growing my skills on an old favourite platform.

I am a software developer from the avionics industry and was looking at doing python programs for the conversion of various avionics things and maybe some bin/hex/decimal stuff too.
For this reason, I was looking for a Python-enabled calculator and found Casio. I already have a fx991 and will receive cg50 this week. My search led me to this forum and I have set up the SDK, compiled the skeleton, and now write my code for trials.
I am traditionally more into RTOS and multiprocessing but being able to throw small utilities onto my calculator, is very interesting.

For development, I use a Chromebook and my mini CentOS Stream 9 cube. They differ greatly in their libraries due to differences in distro. My editor is Neovim as I ssh from Chrome to CentOS at times and then I can always use the same editor. To have the same feel I also use Kitty.

I am looking forward to getting deeper into this little device

Back in the late 90s, I wrote some games for the TI85 on ZShell. I am looking forward to rediscovering the vintage hardware.

I also purchased a used TI84+ Silver edition for next to nothing. I noticed it came with Mirage OS and a Super Mario clone on it.
