I'm attempting to make a somewhat faithful Cookie Clicker port to the TI 84 CE, using the CE C Toolchain. I have little to no experience in C besides dabbling in closed environments, Arduino, and the odd project I start for the CE every now and then. I'm mostly just winging it and doing a lot of googling. I don't have much added but I figured I'd announce that I started working on this to garner excitement.

Here's an animation of this early, early version.

Go easy on me, I'm kind of learning as I go lol. I'll try to update often but I'm in and out of houses as my family moves and I'll be busy helping with that process. Advice or pointers are always appreciated Smile
Nice! The graphics look good and the gameplay should be pretty straight forward, so good luck.
Thank you a million times and back I have been waiting for this for forever!!
The graphics look really good, everything seems to be running quite nicely!

Don't worry about your code too much, it's all part of learning. If it's working it's working 😄
This has a lot of potential! Are you able to move the mouse when you click the cookie?
This project doesnt run on both cemu and my actual calculator
Did you compile it? If you did then you might want to post in the issue of the git hub so the author can see it directly
Hey fellas, got a release of Beta 1.0 for you all. I hope you enjoy, but it's very unfinished. Sorry for taking so long, but it should be faster now since I'm done moving. This is just an early release I cobbled together but I plan to have it be more polished and feature-packed.

Yeah, you can. There's a compiled beta on Github. I'm done moving now so I can work on it a lot more so there's more updates to come, but now there's a semi-functional store with just cursors.

Did you compile it properly? I also don't have an 84C to test it on so afaik it works on the CE only, if that's the issue. There's a release on Github now so you can check out my compiled version. I also think I'm using an outdated version of the compiler but I'm using the newest drivers on my calculator, so it should work on yours. Also, if it does happen to be a bug, could you tell me the steps you took to make it happen so I can fix it? Thx in advance Very Happy
Pretty nifty 👍 Can't wait to see with more features.
hey can you make it so the enter button will also click as well as the 2nd button?

Sure, why not
I added more items to the shop and I improved the UI. It's far from complete but this is what I have so far. https://github.com/gooberdood/Cookie-Clicker-CE

An idea would be if you can like introduce saving so when you release a update we can transfer the cookie amount we have over.

That'll come eventually but I'm moreso working on getting the game engine down first
I have to say, very nice and organized code, I really like the break up across different files. As a suggestion for saving, I like to have the APPVAR created if it doesn't exist, that way the player doesn't have to send an APPVAR along with the game to the Calc. But overall, really cool game, with graphics that blow my skills out of the water.
You might want to use your own icons to avoid any copyright issues.

I somewhat doubt that Orteil would get too mad over it considering it's not really gonna take revenue away from him
Now you just need to add all 639 achievements and all 716 upgrades.
