Thanks, everyone! As for the hooks, they are implemented, but only [on]+[prgm] to start the shell is present for now. I'm not sure if any more would be useful--that's the only one that I really used in Cesium.
I went ahead and uploaded the test build to
Google Drive for those who don't have Discord, as well. This is the same test build, 0.2.0, that was released to my Discord server in late December. If you are able to, joining the
server and posting feedback/suggestions/bug reports there would be preferred, as it keeps things much more organized than doing so on the forum.

I Use the [on]+[sto->] function quite often when I am Using My Calculator in the Dark, but the problem is that it inverts all the colors instead of just the main part of the calculator. So It would be nice to have that on-hook available, but would be even better if it was changed to only take effect on the main calculator screens & not the apps/programs.
What are the VYSHOOK.8xv and the IDEFAULT.8xv files for?

VYSHOOK.8xv is the hook file--it contains code for doing things like handling the [on] shortcut to start the shell.
iDEFAULT.8xv is the default icon pack, which contains most of the shell graphics (which can be replaced with different ones by applying a different icon pack).
Hello,
I use Vysion OS since 2020, I think there a new update now.
I use the version 1.0.0 (menu shell > build information > version), but I can in message the last version is 0.2.0
It’s normal? And how to update
Thanks you
I'm not sure I'm understanding you correctly--if you're talking about a new VYSION 1 release, the only one that's available is the one in the archives.
For VYSION 2, it hasn't made it beyond a pre-release yet. All builds that have been released so far (or will be) before that release are on my
Discord server.
EDIT: Also possible that I just forgot to update the version text on that screen. If the archives said it was version 1.0.0, it is.
Dear epsilon5,
Hello, epsilon5 when can we expect an update or a final download for Vysion 2? I have recently tested out the prerelease and it kept crashing and resetting my RAM. Thank you
Hi epsilon!
This shell is amazing 10/10 just have some quick questions, is there a way to import your own backgrounds?
Thanks!

Be patient. Can you describe in more detail the circumstances that led to the reset? It's been pretty stable for me.

Thanks! For VYSION 1, read through the readme provided with the download and the convimg documentation and it should be pretty clear. For VYSION 2, I wouldn't bother yet as the format hasn't been finalized, but I plan to include the same Python script that I've been using to convert the wallpapers myself in the final download for everyone, which should make it a bit easier.

ok thanks!
What happens is when I go to Custom>Color theme>Custom colors>Titlebar colors>Inactive colors: it goes black and immediately crashes.
For Vysion 1 how do I add programs to my taskbar and files to the desktop

Yep, that is actually a known issue--the buffer for that text isn't large enough, so it overflows and can cause a crash.
As for the VYSION 1 question, you just need to cut and paste to the Desktop folder to get a file on the desktop. To add one to the taskbar, right-click on the file, go to its properties, and toggle the "Taskbar pinned" option.
Thanks for the fast response!
But how do you right click sorry if I sound dumb 😅
WAIT do you push mode, I think I figured it out

Yep, that's right. All the controls and more information are in the readme file.
One more thing, how do you make the taskbar in Vysion 2 transparent
Dereo_Habibi1233 wrote:

You can't make it fully transparent, but you can toggle translucency in the settings menu, under Customization ("Enable translucency").
I could make that an option on some desktop layouts eventually, maybe, but I prefer the translucency as it looks better on more backgrounds.
Is there a way to make Vysion 1 or Vysion 2 an application or is it only possible to access it from another shell

That will be done before release, I pretty much have to now as both CEaShell and Cesium do.
