Can't we just read this on CodeWalrus if we were interested? What's the point of crossposting?
Different sites, different people. Not everyone looks at CW
In the future I'll refrain from double-posting news from CodeWalrus to here, but I think this news is important enough to be fine:
Decimal floating point support has landed in the kernel! The pull request can be found
here, however some fixes/optimizations have been pushed to master on top of it. While it's missing some (important) operations, it's a major first step.
The updated file is here:
https://github.com/KnightOS/kernel/blob/master/src/02/fp-math.asm
A new volunteer blog post has been written about the Binary Decimal support:
http://www.knightos.org/2017/08/19/Decimal-math-support.html
Thanks for updating us about the biggest tool in the community.

Some people can get you updates on certain topics if you ask politely
well after some stuff at CW about shutting down I'm not updating that thread any longer. and @allynfolksjr, people hop in the IRC channel relatively often, so I figure they find info somewhere. Ask anyone outside of the drama and they'll say it's a cool project.
