As of today, the Arendelle PvP Arena is ready for play with the new theme--- Wipeout PvP. In the style of the Wipeout series, jump over obstacles and try to reach the end of the course, while avoiding players trying to knock you off. First, some game rules/scoring and then screenshots:

Game Rules
- Any number of players may join.
- Iron armor/weapons only. Bows allowed. Tipped arrows allowed. No combat-assisting enchantments.
- No ender pearls or other teleportation devices.

- If you die, you must restart the course from the beginning.
- You MUST attempt an obstacle once before moving on. If you fall off, you may move on to the next obstacle, via its ladder.
- Once you enter the Wipeout Zone, you must complete the rest of the course in one shot, as there are no more ladders. If you fall off, you must return to the one ladder at the beginning of the Wipeout Zone.
- The first player or group of players to reach the ending platform wins the prizes in the chest.

Scoring
- Record your time to complete the course. At the conclusion of the Wipeout PvP Series, the one or two players with the lowest time will get a special prize.

Game Rules
- Any number of players may join.
- One player is chosen to be the slenderman. This player rotates each round.
- Slenderman gets night vision and invisibility potions, as well as splash potions of nausea and blindness, courtesy of comicIDIOT.
- All players try to outlast and collect pages. Each page collected is a point.
- When you die, you are eliminated, but get credit for pages collected.
- If Slenderman dies, round ends, pages are tallied, and player to kill Slenderman gets a 3 point bonus.

A special thank you to comicIDIOT who went through a lot of trouble to help us out with this series, from creating a region to disable mob spawns in the darkness, to supplying the uncraftable potions for the game. As the series has come to an end, the region may be removed and the potions removed from the arena. The next arena theme will be Wipeout styled. For anyone unfamiliar with the Wipeout series, here is a video link to a "best-of" compilation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqGh1sTpZPg. The idea is to create a series of stages, starting at the bottom, moving around the arena, and moving towards the ceiling with a prize chest at the very end. You try to complete the obstacles, with an allowance for fighting against other players while doing so. The last surviving player(s) to make it to the end of the course can take the loot from the prize chest.

Wipeout PvP Arena debuts in two matches, one today in roughly 2 hours and the other Wednesday, at 7:30pm EST. Come and try out the course!
