  3. TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus Programs

These programs are for the TI-83+ and TI-84+ calculators, including the 83+ SE and 84+ SE. They are mostly not compatible with the color-screen 84+ CSE or CE variants, but some BASIC programs can be run on all of them.

  1. Stick Fighter is a two-player game in which two people fight each other. Similar to PC fighting games, the graphics are good, health and time are tracked, and special moves sometimes appear. You can move, kick, and punch; the first person who loses all life dies. The speed is amazing for the graphics!

  3. Written for the same class as my Jury's Stability Criterion Solver, this program performs polynomial division on arbitrary numerator and denominator polynomials. It accepts any pair of n-degree numerator and m-degree denominator, where {n,m}>=0 and n does not necessarily equal m. The program will produce successive terms until a remainder of zero is achieved or the user presses [Clear], whichever occurs first. It is particularly useful for calculating the finite impulse response of a digital control system, and is of course DCS6+ compatible.

  4. This program will solve an Oblique Triangle, as long as you know any 3 values of the triangle. Example ( 3 known sides, 2 known sides and
1 angle, or 2 known angles and 1 side ). For any value that you don't know, input a "0" zero for that value and press enter. Once you have input all the values the program will display all the angles and sides of the
    triangle for you.

  5. It's boxes time ! Super Crate Box is a hardcore game originally for PC and iOS in which you have to catch the boxes and dodge or kill the enemies endlessly and aimlessly walking through the level. Killing an enemy doesn't give you points, only getting a crate does ! Also, beware : getting a crate will automatically change your weapon into another (better or worse). Make the highest score possible ! There are currently 10 weapons available, so try them all ! By matrefeytontias, with Axe Parser 1.2.1a

  16. Jezzball v1.0 is based on the game by the same name originally written by Dima Pavlovsky and released in the Microsoft Entertainment Pack for Windows 95. You advance through increasingly-challenging levels, filling the playfield by placing walls. You must prevent atoms (balls) from touching walls that are in the process of being built, but once a wall is complete, the atoms will bounce off that wall. Your goal is to fill at least 65% of each level to proceed to the next level. If you fill more than 65%, you receive a fill bonus proportional to how much above 65% you filled the play field. If you beat a level quickly, you also receive a time bonus. Your goal is to advance as far as possible. Jezzball v1.0 for the TI-83 Plus/TI-84 Plus has nearly identical rules to the original PC game, with a few tweaks to make it more fun on calculators.

  18. Cubix is an original puzzle game where you must eat all of the subjects of your kingdom. Of course, there is a catch. You need to figure out how to eat them all in order to move on to the next village. There are 20 levels, an arcade mode, plus a level editor, so enjoy! All help issues are self-contained in the game. How handy!

  19. ParSim v1.0 is a 3D particle simulator application for TI-83/84-series graphing calculators. It can simulate and display 3D static and dynamic electric and magnetic fields as well as particles of all velocities, positions, charges, and masses. The simulator output is displayed in a graphical interface that automatically adjusts for optimal output of the data at hand. It assumes a k-constant of 1, so charges, masses, and velocities should be expressed on the scale of 10^0th integers for the elementary particles.

  20. Invalid Tangram can best be described as a cross between Space Invaders and Tetris. Build block combos to gain powerups, then blast the enemies into oblivion while avoiding destruction. Instead of health, you have time: powerups add to your time, but enemy shots can remove it. Run out of time and the game ends. Invalid Tangram DE is based on the PC game by Josh Szepietowski and is available for both Doors CS 6.0 and Ion. Now with source and several user-suggested improvements, plus Nspire support.

Athena, the packager and installer, for your TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus graphing calculators, built to help authors of BASIC games who happen to have zillions of subprograms and data files distribute their games or software suites. The packager part runs on most Windows OSes, and the installer runs on your graphing calculator. You must read the README.TXT file for usage information.

  27. (demo) Pixel vs. List
In this file there are three versions that I attempted to verify which one was faster. The fastest version uses pixels(SPACEIN3 vs. the other two that use lists. One of the list versions uses three plots to plot graphics(SPACEINV, the other uses one plot by augmenting lists(SPACEIN2. These are the trial versions. Version 1.0 will be released in the near future using pixels. For those of you who seek to learn how to program in basic this is a simple game, not too complex so you should be able to figure out how to use this method very easily. After a few attempts you should be able to make games with graphics like these using little time and effort. In this file I have included a tool for everyone to use (PIXELSPR). With this tool you can go to graph screen, draw a sprite, save it to pic9, and then run the program to save you sprite as pixel coordinates on the graph screen. Open a new program, recall lists SPR1 and SPR2 to the program. Then you can reference the pixel coordinates as you enter the PXL(SPR1,SPR2).

Special Use the 2nd key and keypad to control.[On] to exit.
Thanks to Cemetech for inspiring me to make these demos as demonstrations of pixel and list use.

  31. TabFunctions, or TabFunc for short, is the first truly useful SE to be created with the brand-new Shell Expansion system I finished yesterday. Simply pressing [F1] and [F2] acts as the equivalent of [TAB] and [SHIFT][TAB] on a computer keyboard. The regular arrows, clicking, and keyboard shortcuts remain fully functional, so the TabFunc simply layers an extra bit of useability on top of the interface for those who don't feel like navigating manually with the mouse. Screenshot and source code below for those interested in learning about making SEs.

  32. ASM Tools is a multifunction utility for z80 programmers. There are four main sections of built-in dynamic tools, each meant to make programming easier. The Conversions section will convert to and from any of hexidecimal (base 16), binary (base 2), and decimal (base 10). The Calculate section will find program size and a variety of execution time stats. The Command Reference contains information on a variety of z80 commands and ROM calls. The Select Commands section contains complete size and clock information for a variety of 1 and 2 byte math instructions, indirection, ports, and often-used rom calls. Doors CS v4.0 and up optimized.

  33. After weeks of programming, with a huge pause in between, here it finally is: The Axe remake of DJ Omniamgas popular Basic RPG "Reuben Quest: Ev Awakening". The Axe remake features flicker-less 4 level grayscale and it is also able to run on a regular TI-83+! With its 35503 bytes it is also way smaller than the original, but doesn't lack any features of it at all. Hope you'll enjoy it!

As you play, attempting to keep the ball within the screen, the paddles gradually move towards the center of the screen. If you can contain the ball until the paddles touch, you win the game.

Better yet, it doesn't mess up any of your precious strings, matrices, or pics! This demo juggles a large number of bouncing balls between all of the calculators in a CALCnet 2.2 network, demonstrating the low latency, high throughput, and high reliability of the protocol. Six bouncing, morphing calls are introduced for each calculator in the network, and every time a ball reaches the edge of a screen, it appears instantly on the neighboring calculator. It is also available for the TI-73, TI-82, TI-83, TI-83+/84+ and TI-84+CSE, with the potential of being programmed on other calculators at a later date.
